Motorola to launch its "Priced for All" smartphone in India today

After its budget phone Moto G and mid-range Moto X smartphones in India, Motorola is going to make its smartphones even more affordable with the Moto E launch in India today. But Motorola hasn't revealed except  "priced for all" punch line. Moto E, last week was found listed on Zauba, an Indian website that keeps a track of goods imported to India. According to that, the Moto E has been imported to India at Rs 6,300 per unit. Having considered the prices at which the Moto G and Moto X were brought to the domestic market and the actual prices at which they went on sale, it can be reasoned out that the "priced for all" - as the company has mentioned in its media invites - smartphone, Moto E, will go on sale at or under Rs 8,500 (including taxes).

Just likeMoto G and the Moto X, the latest Motorola smartphone - the Moto E - will also be a Flipkart exclusive. Even though no official statement is there, the Moto E is supposed to have 4.3-inch display, 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon along with 1GB RAM, and a 1,980mAh battery. It will be sporting a 5 megapixel rear camera. Itwill support a memory card of up to 32GB for additional storage. It shall run on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. Moto E will also support swappable back covers (Moto Shells), which will be available in various colours. The phone is expected to be announced globally in both single SIM and dual-SIM variants. It shall be available in India immediately after the launch as per shipment records and data.
